Alam Millwork provided a custom built island when we first moved into our home over 3 years ago and they did an excellent job with high end materials and craftsmanship.

In 2023, I contacted Sam Alam and mentioned that we wanted a new pantry which would match our previous island (materials, paint colour, quartz, and double shaker doors). Sam looked up the previous order and had all of the records in his system. So creating a new matching pantry was easy to do.

Sam is meticulous and made sure the pantry was designed to exactly meet our requirements. The order was processed and Sam was able to coordinate suppliers to meet a short lead time and have a completed order in a few weeks.

We had a very pleasant experience with Alam Millwork and construction.  Sam and his staff were a great help in installing all the woodwork for our new Church of St. George and St. Mercurius in St. Catharines. The woodwork was imported from Egypt and included an iconostasis, side wall cladding, pews, lecturns, icon frames, etc. This was supposed to be installed by workers coming from the manufacturing company in Egypt specifically for this project. But because of the covid restrictions they were not able to come to Canada. So we were really blessed to know Sam and his staff, who did all the installation with all precision and detail, plus fabricating all extra work that was needed at their place.
